| ASUS was informed by Intel that first allotment of Intel
ICH6/ICH6R units have quality issue. The quality issue may cause
ICH6/ICH6R motherboards unable to boot up. This problem currently
affects all ICH6/ICH6R motherboard vendors. In the meantime, Intel has
replaced ASUS with new ICH6/ICH6R units which proved to have fix the
problem mentioned above.
For ASUS ICH6/ICH6R motherboards (P5AD2 Premium, P5AD2 Deluxe, P5GD2 Premium, P5GD2 Pro, P5GD2 Deluxe and P5GD1 motherboards) that have been shipped to ASUS customers, ASUS has offered the following solutions: 1. ASUS has informed distributors to stop selling all 925X/915P/915G based motherboards in order to protect ASUS customers. 2. ASUS will provide replacement services for all P5 Series motherboards with new ICH6/ICH6R units immediately. Identification: 1. New ASUS product part number will have a 0 (Blocked in red) added at the end of part number to differentiate as new (With 0) motherboards. 2. "Chipset OK" description will also be added at the bottom of part
